Yesterday both year 11 Food Preparation and Nutrition groups worked really well to make and decorate Foccacia Breads.
The wonderful aroma of Yeast and Rosemary-infused Olive Oil filled the Food room as the dough was mixed and well-kneaded. With a choice of toppings from Thyme, Rosemary and Chives, to Peppers, Olives and Tomatoes, the students designed their toppings, before brushing them with more oil, before they were left to prove and then cooked. The results were fantastic and students were able to take their Foccacia home to share.
