The Year 10 netball attended the Emerging Schools Netball Tournament yesterday and played some outstanding netball throughout the evening to take the winners title.
The girls all played really well not only individually but as a team, which is what we have been working on. With a couple of players missing from the squad the defence had to be changed slightly but this did not have an impact on the determination and effort from Megan Free, Abi Bourton, Kiera Moore and Mary Stewart all making great interceptions and marking the ball down the court.
The attacking players also had a fantastic impact on the game with Ruby Irving and Holly Yates playing the ball around the circle well and feeding some great balls into our shooters Rosie Dillon and Jess Carro who as always were on fire with their shooting.
The girls won all four of their games in a round robin competition.
Game 1 v Campion 11-0
Game 2 v NLS 8-0
Game 3 v Myton 7-2
Game 4 v Kingsley 11-7
