Today students visited the beautiful city of Heidelberg boasting a stunning fair tale castle and the oldest University in Germany (founded in 1386).The ascend to the castle tested our determination and Megan Bargewell and Katie Whatcott surprised themselves and felt a sense of achievement. Students of both schools admired the biggest wine barrel in the world and Ten Sullivan became Master in finding Subways whilst Joe Yorath proved to be a fountain of knowledge. After making gains in history and physical stamina we had to embark in some retail therapy and sample more German specialities in the sunshine. Tomorrow we will learn how to make pretzels. Bis morgen!
