Wednesday night saw an impressive display by the year 9 football team Vs Studley. Tristan Marriott opened the scoring 4 minutes into the game after a well worked passing move was capped off with a placed shot into the bottom corner. This was immediately followed up a few minutes later after a ball over the top of the defence by Kacie Smith found Eric Stanley who chipped the goalkeeper.
A wonderful strike from outside the box from Reuben Cooper made it 3-0 and two goals from Kacie Smith meant that year 9 went in at half time 5-0 up.
The boys carried on with their relentless attacking after the restart when Eric chipped the keeper for the second time to make it 6-0. Tristan came back on and shortly after, capped a weaving run past three Studley players by firing past the keeper. The Final goal came when Tom Currell’s shot was handled off the line by one of Studley’s outfield players. A penalty was awarded which was slotted away by Eric who completed his Hattrick to make it 8-0.
Well done boys!
